1. About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings and purchases made via
www.oceanviews.im (the “Website”). By placing an order or making a booking you agree to be bound
by these Terms.
References to “we”, “us” or “our” mean Ocean Views (the business trading via the Website).
References to “you” mean the customer making a booking or purchase.
These Terms are intended to be clear and fair. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
2. Services and Products
We provide accommodation, experiences and/or related services (together, “Services”) and may also offer
vouchers, gift cards or other items (“Products”). What is included in your booking is set out in your confirmation
email and/or the listing on the Website.
Images are for illustration only. We may make minor changes to improve Services (for example, to meet legal
requirements or safety standards) without reducing the overall quality.
3. Eligibility and Responsible Use
You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is accurate.
- You must not misuse the Website (including attempting to gain unauthorised access or introducing viruses).
- You must follow any house rules, safety instructions and reasonable requests from our staff or representatives.
4. Prices
Prices are shown on the Website and are confirmed at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, prices include applicable
taxes/charges shown at the time of booking.
We may correct obvious pricing errors. If this happens after you have placed an order we will contact you and offer
you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Booking and Payment
A booking is confirmed only when we send you a confirmation email. Payment is due as stated at checkout.
If a payment fails or is reversed, we may cancel the booking and/or withhold access to Services until payment is received.
6. Check-in, Check-out and House Rules
Check-in/check-out times are as stated in your booking confirmation. Early check-in/late check-out may be available
on request and is not guaranteed.
- No smoking/vaping inside (unless explicitly stated otherwise).
- No parties, events or excessive noise.
- You must leave the property in a reasonable condition.
- You are responsible for the behaviour of all guests in your party.
7. Damage, Loss and Security Deposits
You are responsible for any loss or damage caused by you or your guests beyond normal wear and tear.
Where a security deposit is taken, we may use it (in whole or part) to cover damage, missing items, excessive cleaning
or breach of house rules. We will provide evidence where reasonably practicable.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
Our cancellation and refund terms are set out in our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy. Those policies form part of these Terms.
9. Changes or Cancellation by Us
We may need to change or cancel a booking due to events outside our reasonable control, safety reasons, or where a
property becomes unavailable (for example, emergency maintenance).
If we cancel your booking we will offer a full refund or (where available) an alternative of similar standard. We are not
responsible for additional costs you incur (for example, travel costs) except where required by law.
10. Liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by our breach of these Terms or our negligence. We are not
responsible for losses that are not foreseeable.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation,
or any liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy information provided on the Website. By using the Website you acknowledge
that we may process your information for booking administration and customer service.
12. Complaints and Contact
If you have any questions or complaints, please contact us using the contact details on the Website. We aim to respond promptly.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Isle of Man, unless stated otherwise on the Website. The courts of the Isle of Man
will have exclusive jurisdiction except where consumer law provides otherwise.
